LiveLife Berlin - Kids Workshop
In the context of the exhibition "LiveLife Berlin" we offer a free kids workshop together with little popup.
Nature and environment are in danger! This topic and preserving the beauty of nature are the focus of "LiveLife Berlin". Nine artists from Azerbaijan and Germany: Fine artists, photographers, video and installation artists want to inspire us to reflect on the future of our Earth with their artwork.
Dimitra Zavakou, founder of little popup (www.littlepopup.com), was invited to devise a creative art program exclusively for children concerning the "LiveLife Berlin" exhibition, in order to sensitize the protection of nature and the environment through the exhibited works of art.
Under the lead of the illustrator Karin Lubenau this project will be implemented at the Gallery Berlin-Baku in Berlin-Schöneberg. The artwork of the exhibition serves as a source of inspiration, especially the central installation of Leyla Aliyeva, a large heart sculpture in a chamber. Karin Lubenau says: "We start our workshop with the feeling and hearing of the heartbeat, the very first sound we hear in our lives, the heartbeat of our mother. Starting from this unconditional love we focus our attention on mother nature, sensitizing themes and being respectful to each other. In dialogue and cooperation with the children, creative love will be spread into artwork, which will be part of the exhibition at the end."
The free kids workshop is scheduled for Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 1-3 pm
