Wine as cultural asset
In the second half of the 18th century tsarina Catherine II called foreigners for settlement and cultivation in the Russian Empire.
A relatively unknown chapter in Russian-German history depicts the settlement of Germans in the South Caucasus, which celebrates its 200th anniversary in 2017-2019. They have left a rich cultural heritage with a long tradition of winegrowing.
On this occasion, we cordially invite you to a tasting of Azerbaijani wines on 27 November 2017 at 18:30 in the Gallery Berlin-Baku.
